Abs of Steel, Thigh Master, Snuggie, and Oxi Clean are all items that I have sold on eBay before. As Seen On TV products sell really well, and the best thing about these products is the consistent advertising that has been done!
Most of these products that you see on TV are not used more than a few times. Then are stored in a closet until spring cleaning comes around, and then donated to Goodwill or other Thrift stores. Thats where we come in! Used or new, these products still sell. Some of them sell on eBay as a gag gift, and others are sold to really be used. They person who I sold the Abs of Steel (VHS) tape to was really excited, and she sent me an email letting me know how she intended to use this program. It was a little more information than I really wanted but I was still grateful to receive the positive email. Lets take a look at some completed listings of these items:
When I found these at Goodwill I only paid $.25 for the Abs of Steel and $1 each for the Thigh Master and Oxi Clean. Not a bad return on investment. There obviously are hundreds more different products that you can find and sell, so it’s important to keep your eye out. For me its easy, because I always find myself getting lost in an informercial so I learn the products. So the next time you are out shopping for eBay inventory, look for the items that you have seen sold on TV before. You may be amazed at what will sell!

Thanks for the great advice! Your blog is awesome! After reading your “Seen on TV” post, I saw at the Goodwill a brand new Bacon Wave (microwave bacon tray) and picked it up dirt cheap! It is up for auction and getting some bidders! I would have never thought to pick it up before reading your post! Thanks so much for sharing! Last August, I took a pretty big pay cut and Ebay has been picking up the financial stack. My sales have increased over the last two month due in part from all your information and advice!
